Fedor Bondarchuk and Dmitry Rudovsky’s ART PICTURES presented its new animated feature film Savva: Heart of the Warrior, directed by Maksim Fadeev, to be released in 2015. The Russian voice cast includes A-list stars Fedor Bondarchuk, Konstantin Khabensky, Sergey Shnurov, Glukoza, Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Lolita Milyavskaya, Nikolay Baskov, Igor Vernik and others. Sharon Stone, Whoopi Goldberg and Milla Jovovich will voice the English version.
Heart of the Warrior is the story of a little boy Savva who, when trying to escape vicious hyenas that attack his village, travels to a magical world where his amazing adventures start.
Project co-producer Dmitry Rudovsky said that, following market screenings, North American, European, Latin American and Chinese distributors expressed interest in purchasing the rights to the film.
