From Finer Films' comes CANOPY starring Khan Chittenden. The film marks the directorial feature debut of Aaron Wilson and produced by Katrina Fleming.
CANOPY centers on the journey of two men from different cultural and language backgrounds trying to survive the jungle in 1942 wartime. Despite their limited language barrier, they band together under extreme circumstances, and the audience is immersed into the jungle world, with each frame enticing the viewer into the dark, mercurial and beautiful landscape of Southeast Asia.
The film will make its World Premiere at next month's Toronto International Film Festival in the Discovery Section as an acquisition title.
