The premiere of Brigadistas took place in Berlin on the hottest day of the year. The resistance fighters Pilar Mendiburu, Joseph Eisenbauer and Herman Scheerboom travelled from their home countries to attend the event and the band Radio Kanario composed and arranged new songs to be presented at the premiere.
