Musivision and Oscar winner Co Hoedemans' film will team up again to produce a short animation film The Cardinal. Musivison president and director of Le MIAFF Montreal International Animation Film Festival, Laurie Gordon says " I think The Cardinal is already a visual masterpiece and its still in post-production.
The animation pulls you in and eloquently captivates you. Created in a unique stop motion style based around the theme of Post Tramautic Stress Disorder PTSDWhile Hoedeman was a guest in Japan for a film festival he was showing the unfinished editing at the Tokyo University for the Arts to Koji Yamamura, the animator/producer who is also a teacher at the University. Yamanmura initiated the idea of the University helping out and taking care of the music and the sound track for the film. They will do a Japanese version of the narration as well as the Japanese distribution for the film. This work has now begun.Musivision has been in development with various film projects and is completing financing and development phases to fulfil production deadlines.Gordon is also closing a distribution deal with Videograph for The Cardinal and are discussing the possibility of more films to be represented by Videograph including documentary on Gerald Potterton and High Flight.
