Its the 48th annual event of WorldFest-Houston, and this year is packed with 10 Great Days of 50 award-winning Indie Films, 111 great Short Films, and 550 Indie filmmakers from around the globe. Founded in 1961, WorldFest-Houston is the oldest Independent Film Festival in the world and 3rd oldest in the US. This annual event has evolved into a competitive independent international film festival showcasing the rising stars of tomorrow!
The Houston International Film Festival will be this April 10-19th, located at AMC Studio 30 on Dunvale. Festivities include the Opening Night Champagne Gala Premiere, Daily Film Screenings, 9 Master Classes, the Grand Awards Gala & Cocktail Reception with the filmmakers, plus our Closing Day events (Houston Yacht Club Consular Regatta/Barbecue & VIP NASA/Space Center Houston Tour).
